PROJECT BACKGROUND
During my internship at CB2, I designed a rugs buying guide to boost SEO efforts, aiming to drive website traffic and attract new shoppers. SEO accounted for 22.5% of CB2's e-commerce revenue, making it crucial to enhance search visibility. Additionally, the guide streamlined the purchasing process by enabling direct product purchases.
THE OUTCOME
I created a reusable template for future guides that employed a grid system for visual harmony and coherence, alongside a typographic hierarchy for easy navigation and readability. The imagery chosen reflected CB2's editorial aesthetic, ensuring a cohesive brand experience.

THE DESIGN PROCESSMy first wireframe and design was inspired by CB2’s editorial marketing materials. I wanted to create a web page that was as unique as the brand, so I arranged the text and images in a strategic layout. However, I felt the design neeeded to align further with the company’s clean aesthetic. After testing the first variation, I went back to the wireframing phase again which resulted in the final design above.
